As a slow fashion brand our criteria for making apparel is based on the following checklist:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Ethical human relationships, zero toxic chemicals, no plastic use, responsible water usage, lifecycle of garment, low carbon footprint.

At Imbued, we do our best to meet these high standards. Our clothing is ethically manufactured by a small crew of dedicated artisans in Austin, Texas known as Savilino.

The fibers we use come from ecologically grown cotton sourced from India and Mexico from small farm collectives. These ethical partnerships help maintain a vibrant village life and prevent families from being split apart to find work in cities.

The majority of Imbued’s fabric colorants are derived from sustainably harvested botanical extracts. By using these ancestral dye techniques artisanal traditions are perpetuated.

We believe that transparency is key, so while striving to create a clothing brand in line with your values, we also know that a business none the less has an environmental impact. We feel that as a small, ethical fashion brand we offer an option that is a conscious step in a healthier direction.
